Terms of Service
Last updated 8 September 2026.
These terms cover your use of Outlay, a service operated by Hyperflow Automation. Using Outlay means you accept them.
What Outlay does
Outlay collects receipts and invoices — uploaded, or forwarded to an address we give you — reads the details from them, and keeps them in a ledger you can search, approve and export. Business plans add workspaces, roles and approvals.
Details are read automatically and can be wrong. You are responsible for checking anything you rely on for tax or accounting. Outlay is a record-keeping tool, not an accountant, and nothing in it is tax advice.
Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- One person per seat. A Business workspace pays for each person who uses it.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and if you sign up for a company you must be entitled to do so.
Your data stays yours
You keep every right in the receipts and information you put into Outlay. We use them only to run the service for you — storing them, reading them, showing them back to you. We do not sell them and we do not use them to advertise to you. The privacy policy sets out what is stored and for how long.
You can export your ledger at any time, and ask us to delete your account and its contents.
What you may not do
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to upload.
- Try to break, overload or gain access to parts of the service that are not yours.
- Resell Outlay, or use it to build a competing product.
- Use it to launder money or disguise transactions.
We may suspend an account that does any of these, and will tell you why.
Plans and payment
Prices are shown in Indian rupees on the pricing page and inside the app. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Business plans are charged per person.
Taxes are charged as the law requires. Cancellations and refunds are covered by the refunds and cancellation policy.
We may change prices. If a change affects what you already pay, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Availability
We work to keep Outlay running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. There is no uptime guarantee on any plan today. Maintenance, an outage at a provider we depend on, or a fault of our own can all interrupt the service.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Export exists for exactly that.
Liability
Outlay is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for a tax position you took on the strength of a figure the service read incorrectly. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using Outlay whenever you like and cancel from Settings. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and time to export.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
